ACTING LESSONS OFFERED FOR ALL AGESAmelia works with All-of-us Express Children's Theatre to offer acting lessons that help students prepare for auditions by teaching them what directors are looking for. These lessons cover projection, enunciation, characterization, and much more! Each lesson is designed specifically to reach the students needs. Amelia also uses these lessons to help students gain confidence in themselves as a performer and student.
Read below for the admittance process, offerings, and schedule. |
ADMITTANCE PROCESS
First, you need to contact Amelia if you're interested! You will set up a half hour slot to meet with her. This meeting is where Amelia will chat with your child about what they're interested in, what they want to learn, and what they want to walk away from the lessons with. Based off of that, Amelia will be able to let you know what the best course of action is. Sometimes it is right for the student to sign up for six lessons and use them all right away. However, sometimes it is also right to just sign up for one or two now and one or two later. Other times, the right option is to involve your child in a show before embarking upon lessons. Additionally, you can pay for four and since they're good for an entire year, use one before each of the All-of-us Express main-stage auditions. The options are limitless! |
OFFERINGS
Amelia currently offers half hour lessons singularly for $40. The lessons are good for a whole year, so you can use them whenever you want! Each student walks away from lessons with the opportunity to memorize a monologue and film it. SCHEDULING
Since Amelia works as the Assistant Artistic Director and Production Stage Manager at All-of-us Express, she is unable to offer lessons when there is a rehearsal, show, or publicity event for the theatre. The latest she can offer lessons during the week is a session from 5:30-6 pm, as rehearsals start at 6:30 pm. For the most part, any time she is unavailable, it will be posted on the calendar below. |
